Advanced Graduate Program for International Students
To prepare the next generation of scientists in the research fields of Atmospheric and Hydrospheric Sciences and the Asian Environment, the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies of Nagoya University offers an intensive doctoral program specially designed for international students. Applicants must be able to attend on a full-time basis for three years starting from the winter term (beginning in October). Though the program is research oriented, course work is required. Courses are offered in English, and all dissertation work, including discussions with advisers, progress reports, writing, and presentations are in English.
